TOOLED-UP FOR EFFICIENCY
Comp-Tech’s in-house design and tooling capability adds dimension to our comprehensive product and service offering. While we continue to realize savings for clients by cultivating strong relationships with off-shore providers of tooling services, we also tool molds in-house when economics and logistics dictate. At a minimum, our in-house capabilities help ensure quality and consistency by enabling us to re-engineer molds and conduct preventative maintenance.

DESIGNED FOR QUALITY
Our design expertise is a key strength, especially when tooling is outsourced. All Comp-Tech molds built off-site follow CAD programming and specifications designed at Comp-Tech or by the customer. First-off part samples are shipped to us for analysis before we accept the finished product and begin production. Our molds are built to reflect sound and complete part design as well as a clear understanding of our manufacturing process. All molds are inspected and tested prior to running to ensure quality is up to Comp-Tech’s and our customer’s standards.

PURCHASING EXPERTISE
Comp-Tech has the expertise to make an overseas tooling purchase a routine operation. With dedicated tooling staff who speak Cantonese and Mandarin, we’ve built strong relationships with leading Chinese suppliers. Together with experienced importing specialists, we can provide tooling FOB China or arrange all customs clearing and freight forwarding to Comp-Tech.

3D SCANNING AND REVERSE ENGINEERING

Comp-Tech uses one of the leading edge hand held 3D Scanners on the market for a variety of applications. The use of a hand held device over other systems is a great advantage for us and many of our customers, enabling fast and accurate scans in house or on location, thereby creating vast cost savings.
